What Scientists Made the Most Useful Inventions for the Humanity?

Henry David Thoreau has said: “Our inventions are wont be a pretty toy, which distract our attention from serious things”. I quite disagree with these words. I’m sure that inventions help us to understand this world better.



On my own opinion the brightest scientist is Leonardo da Vinci. The full name is Leonardo di sir Piero da Vinci. He was not only a painter; he was a thinker, scientist, inventor, writer and just genial man. He was born in Florence and was bastard but many influential people helped him. First his phenomenal work that was lost was shield of Gorgon Medusa. This was a really great and costed a lot of money. According to the legend it was give for Medici, one of the most powerful and cruel family. It was family’s symbol and protect.
It’s not a secret, that da Vinci wrote his diary in regular reflection. Isn’t it a confirmation of his genius? He made plans of parachute, helicopter, car etc. I consider that these inventions are very useful. Why? Leonardo passed ahead his century.  His works didn’t give us ready result they forced us to make, to try. They aren’t a present, they are tip. And it’s really good!
