Dear Emily,
Thank you for your letter. It was interesting to hear about your Halloween party. Now I wanna write you about my family.
I can say that my family is typical Ukrainian family. There are two children (my brother and me) and two parents. Father works and mother is busy with little child. So we haven’t so many time for being together. A lot of families are like mine.
Foreigners notice that family is very important for Ukrainians. We put it on the first place before career, money or education. I think that it is good. Family is a building block of our country.

Typical Ukrainian Family (100 words) I version

Dear Victor,

How are you? Thank you for writing such a long and interesting letter. You have written me about the typical American family and now I tell you about the typical Ukrainian family.

Generally there are one or two children in the family. Sometimes we can find families with one parent. A typical day for families starts at 7 o’clock. Mother gets up earlier because she cooks breakfast for children and husband. We eat light food or drink tea with bread and butter.  Than parents go to work and children go to school. Women usually work like men. In the evening family gathers together, watch TV or speaks about past day.

As you see, there’s nothing incredible or abnormal. We love our families and appreciate theirs. Please write me about differences between our families,

Ecological Problems

I want to begin my story by Havelock Eliss’s quotation: “What we call “Progress” is the exchange of one nuisance for another nuisance”. As you understand I agree with this phrase.
It makes you think, that it is wrong opinion but I can prove that I am right.

Hobbies

Being pupil means being clever, active and optimistic person. All people have hobbies and a lot of them develop their inclinations in clubs and sections. It teaches young person for organization, discipline and punctuality.

Living In a Private House

World changes. If ten years ago people would like to live in big cities at flats but now a lot of folk buy houses at the ecological clear area (if they could found such areas). At our nowadays we have deurbanization. Honestly speaking my family thought about changing our flat at the third floor on a house. That’s why I want to tell you about advantages and disadvantages of living in a private house.

Жіночу вроду оспівували поети всіх часів. Про красу душі жінки написало мало людей. Про проблеми та страждання в житті жінки творів виявилося ще менше. М.Ю. Лермонтову у своєму романі «Герой нашого часу» вдалося показати з різних сторін абсолютно різних жінок. Такими є Бела, Мері та Віра.

Роман «Герой нашого часу» Михайло Юрійович Лермонтов написав у післядекабристську епоху. Спроби змін, помилки, повстання – усе це зачепило розуми тодішніх молодих людей. Як наслідок, Григорій Пєчорін є відображенням людей того часу чи, як сказав сам автор, Григорій «это портрет, составленный из пороков всего нашего поколения, в полном их развитии".

Уроки Печоріна: чи актуальні вони сьогодні?

Я вважаю, якщо хочеш просто почитати й не думати про прочитане, то треба брати сучасну літературу накштал І. Карпи, К. Вільмонт тощо. Якщо ж хочеться поринути в захопливі події, зустрітися із непересічними особистостями, то варто читати серйозну літературу, яка перевірена часом. Отже, зараз мова піде про представника такої літератури. Якщо точніше, то про роман М. Лермонтова «Герой нашого часу».

Новий рік, нове життя?

Ось уже й третій день нового 2013 року. Звісно, усім забити на твори та цей блог. Виявляється, що найпопулярнішим твором у блозі є  "Сродна праця - це найсолодша в світі річ", за ним простують моральні уроки Мольєра й замикає трійцю твір-опис вулиці. Ну, що ж, варто ще раз перевірити ці твори й виправити помилки, раз вони такі популярні. Удачі, учні, в цьому році!
